As the colder season becomes distant and the sun shines a bit brighter, it is time to start transitioning your wardrobe! Here is a quick guide on how to dress for Spring.
A solid Foundation

For example tan single pleated pants paired with terra-cotta smocked top. Look for materials and colors that are lighter and brighter. This will keep you cool in the sun.
Fuel the Functionality
With pleated pants you'll cover comfort. Pleated pants are designed to fit the hips and allow extra range of motion. Not all pleats are for everyone. Depending on your body shape you may look better with a single pleat, double pleat, or even a box pleat. It's important to try them on before you purchase! Pleats look best on mid to high rise cut pants. With a terra-cotta smocked top you'll cover originality and diversity. Textural elements like smocking can elevate a garment, but beware smocking done wrong can make you look cheap. Try to stick with solids or something that will highlight your features. Pick garments that can carry your everyday items and not make you look awkward. Completing the Look
Look for diverse elements that can stand the test of fashion time. Make sure you include a slim dark brown leather belt. This will create a great sense of color harmony as well as aid in creating a flattering body shape. Don't forget to pair your shoes based off the schedule you have for the day. If you'll be doing some brisk walking kick it with some cute vans. Or if you will be spending it sitting in the office or with some friends try it with a pair of kitten heels or mules. Be sure to include hair accessories and some classic jewelry. This will pull out the fun and playful side of you.

We all know springs best friend is rain, and if you want to be ready for the droplets keep a cute umbrella in your tote or pack a lightweight rain jacket.
