Comfort

"Beauty is Pain"... No, beauty does not have to be pain.

Comfort doesn't have to mean sweats or work out cloths. Doesn't have to mean unflatterning shillohettes. Comfort means you feel happy and confident in the garments that cover your skin. It can be difficult to boil down what comfort means for everyone. So here are a few guidelines to make it easier.

What colors make you feel happy, productive, and relaxed? You may find yourself stick in a phrase where you only wear black, pink, or even orange. If you are being drawn to it wear it! Find ways to layer it or too accessories with it! Colors have a major effect on your mood and will help you feel comfortable. These color may also make you have a more productive day. So if you are being pulled toward the orange overcoat, put it on and walk out of your house.

The right textures, can truly transform how you are feeling. Have you ever found yourself wearing a scratchy bra or a pair of pants that make you want to itch? If garments like this bother you do research to find better products. Today fiber specialists have created some amazing materials that will ensure daily comfort. If you have dry or sensitive skin you might not like certain wools or rough linens. Give charmeuse or Egyptian cottons a try! All-in-all make sure you are washing and caring for your garments properly. Proper care will ensure a better tactile feel, majority of the time.

Everyone has a different sense of what comfort is them. If comfort is wearing a corset or leather pants, so be it! Be aware of what makes you feel more comfortable in your daily life and try to apply it.

Comfort to me has always been the classic denim jean and

a plain white t-shirt.

Original

This can be difficult with the social demands to "fit in." Although, the best fashion moments happen when someone is able to embarrass their own style while pairing in todays trends. Finding the balance between your original style and fashion trends can be a difficult game to play. Start to focus in on one factor that really speaks to you, weather that be texture, silhouette, or color. Choose one that will be represent your personal style and layer the fashion trends onto that.

A good example would be silhouette. You can go for a very contoured look or for a boxy look.Which ever you choice make sure it works for your body shape and your personality. The worst fashion fails are when someone dresses for someone else and loses themselves.

Diversity

Earlier you were asked if your wardrobe is diverse, but do you know what that means? Majority of people have their wardrobes broken into two, spring/summer and fall/winter. This does not mean that you have a diverse wardrobe. Having a multi season clothing selection is just the baseline. You must consider other factors like color, material, and functionality.

While getting dress in the morning look for a piece that brings something unique to your look. For most people the easiest way to keep their everyday looks diverse is by selecting a pair of bright socks. Which is a great way, if you work for a more conservative company.

A more fashion forward approach would be to purchase garments that are one-of-a-kind or from a signature line. These signature pieces will keep your everyday outfits looking fresh and will keep people engaged. It can be a costly habit so if this is not your forte no worries, focus on the properties of the fabrics.

Materials differences can be the make or break of an outfit. Pair together polyester pants with a wool blazer, it will most likely be a tragic mistake! On the other hand a leather skirt with a charmeuse top can be a show stopper. Learning your materials and seeing how different weighted materials can create a harmony will be a revolutionary change for your outfits. Once you are able to nail this harmony down you will be creating looks much more effectively.

To create the perfect outfit using diversity you must think of the garments functional properties. How will the look serve you as your move through your day? If you find yourself needing to change more than once within a day your wasting your looks. Keep in mind the functionality of your materials you are selecting. Not all materials will be applicable for every occasion. That includes you, cotton! Be sure to know the function of different materials this will help you create looks that can go miles. Garment materials will have a different impact on how you are able to accomplish the day. Pick wisely.

Essence

Bring it all down to your core and the importance of what your look means to you. Essence is saying with all these other tips the true one is how does it represent your essence. The best way to layer on the essence of yourself is through accessories.

Accessories will automatically let people know a lot about your personality. You know those people that always wear gold hoop earrings have a certain confidence about what they are doing. People that wear scarves are more reserved but once your get them talking you most likely will love them. Accessories are the essence of your everyday outfits. You should never walk out without one! Be sure to pick the right belt that works with your shoes. Also grab that perfect bag that works for the daily hustle.

Many people get stuck on over accessorizing, so keep it tasteful. If you have piercing keep it fresh and different at lest every three days. If your pants have belts loops, be sure to grab a belt. Sun is out for the day, grab a pair of shades. I typically like to grab ones that pull highlights from my hair. Your basics should be these, once you feel comfortable pairing these try to add or circulate others. Throw in a colorful scarf or a couple of rings. People like to see you come through your looks and with accessories you will be showing off who you are.
